OUR PREMISE
Who doesn't love a good mystery?

Clue is a mystery RPG for characters and players alike. Your Host (moderator) has just been murdered, and their home sets the scene for our story. Guests and servants are sequestered on the estate of the deceased while Inspectors lead the investigation to find out who the killer is!

Only your Host knows who has killed them, only your Host knows everything about your characters. As the game unfolds, players are asked to reveal certain bits of information about their characters, about other guests, about the murder itself, that they may have been concealing. The game is fast paced and will be played until the mystery is solved; the weapon, the motive, and the killer exposed...

So if you fancy yourself a sleuth, if you're interested in a completely different sort of RPG, have a taste for adventure and intrigue, or simply really love this classic game, RSVP today!

WAYS TO PLAY
Customize the game experience for yourself!

Clue is a unique game in that players can choose to know only what their characters know, or, as long as they are able to differentiate between player knowledge and character knowledge, take a more overall viewpoint to watch the story unfold. All threads are posted under journal cuts that let you know at a glance when and where they are happening, and what characters are included.

Threads played in the game community are public. They can be overheard by other characters or joined by other characters, the same way people can eavesdrop or walk into a room in real life. Out of courtesy for your fellow players, please do alert the player who started the thread before making an appearance in the thread unless it is marked as Open to All. Also, be realistic with your presence at the Estate; no one can be in two places at once, don't speak to Mrs. White in the solarium and overhear Professor Plum and Colonel Mustard's fight in the library in the same morning!

Threads posted in journals are private and may not be played in unless invited. Every thread in character journals must be entirely under a journal cut that includes the date, time, location and characters invited to play.

If your character eavesdrops, with or without joining in/being caught, please post an entry of what your character has overheard in your journal under a journal cut of "I've overheard..."

With these simple guidelines, players won't be exposed to any information that their character is not a part of unless they choose to click the cuts. The mystery will remain a mystery for exactly as long as you want it to!
