How to Place a Hold Holds are good for five days and a three day extension is available if you request it before the end of your hold. Please note, the moderator automatically re-opens expired holds at the end of the hold date (PST). Should a hold expire, you must wait 24 hours before re-holding. We do not accept direct challenges; however, we will accept one person to be next in line should a hold fall through. Character faces may be held, though the moderator reserves the right to make alternate suggestions if a choice is inappropriate or on the discouraged PB list.
