Choosing the right face for your played by is always a challenge, especially when it is a completely original character. The wrong face can be cliche, can bring an insurmountable memory of the celebrity or characters they've played, can dull the brilliance of your writing. The right face can bring added life, a clear visual range of emotions, and enhance the character as you write them.

There are a lot of places to look for icons, and if you're at a complete loss for where to start, check out PB Updates to search by gender: race: age: and hair color. For those with patience and time, there is a masterlist of all icon makers, browse away! For those who are a little lazy or too overwhelmed by all the selection out there; check out Find a PB, where you post what you're looking for and get some suggestions from others. Once you have a shortlist of names (or you don't mind searching by a name-only list), there are three amazing places to find icons of who you're after: Wikicon, Find Icons, or the memories at PB Updates.

If you're at a loss and would like some help from the moderator, go ahead and post a comment to this entry (comments are screened) with a description of what you're looking for, including gender, age, race, hair color, and a bit about the character (are they innocent? a baddie? frumpy? stylish? etc.).

Choosing a PB isn't an exact science, and flexibility is required from both players and mods. If you feel that someone on this list is the absolute perfect fit for your character's face, please do still suggest them, but be sure that your secondary choice cannot be found here, and be prepared to have other suggestions made in return.
